3P Inserts (3-Pack)
The use of state of the art materials and manufacturing techniques plays a considerable role in providing the ultimate tri-laminate prefabricated diabetic insert. The 3P insert is easily heat moldable to ensure total contact with the plantar surface of the foot and is extremely durable.
The bottom layer is 3/16 of an inch and consists of a 40 durometer EVA, a durable material that hold the shape of the insert while cradling the foot. This layer can be modified with a grinder to accommodate shoes with lesser depth.
The middle layer is 1/16 of an inch and Poron® a urethane foam that will not collapse while providing excellent cushioning.
The top layer is 1/8 of an inch and is a polyethylene foam. Polyethylene will compress to take a "mold" of the foot distributing weight evenly throughout the sole of the foot. This layer can be heated with an external heat source such as a heat gun or convection oven.
