Product Description
Often referred to as the Pedors “Bunion and Corn” shoe, the Vienna has two stretch panels, one on the medial side for a bunion, the other on the lateral side for a corn. The upper material is super-soft Napa leather and the shoe features a removable insert to allow for custom orthotics.
The Vienna was primarily designed for people living with arthritis, specifically for a hallux valgus foot deformity. A bunion starts as a small enlargement at the head of the first metatarsal that slowly and progressively enlarges. The foot is painful because the bunion becomes inflamed from shoe irritation, degenerative arthritis at the first metatarsophalangeal joint or both.
Calluses and corns are the most common foot problem. Corns are accumulations of the skin’s epidermis, which are created by the body to protect the underlying structures of the foot from excessive pressure points. Under compression, from a shoe or the underlying bone, the skin cannot shed as the surrounding epidermis does, becoming compact in the process, and causing pain until the pressure is relieved.

Relief for Bunions

My mother in law has never really had a good pair of shoes that did not hurt her feet. With bunions on both feet shoes were major pain. These shoes are acually comfortable! Now she can look forward to wearing shoes.

I purchased this shoe for my elderly mother who suffers from severe bunions. These are the most comfortable shoes that we have found for her to wear. She can wear them for many hours at a time without complaint. Her previous shoes did not permit her to wear them for very long. So these shoes are a vast improvement over what she had before.The shoes allow Mom to get out of the house more often and be more comfortable while out. She now owns two pairs of the Pedors Vienna shoes and is very happy with them.When the time comes to purchase again, we will definitely consider another purchase of these shoes.

I bought this shoe because I have arthritis in my feet and a rather large bunion which pushes my foot way to the right. This shoe is the only one I have found which is totally comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone with bunions.

My job requires me to stand, most of the day, on tile. By the end of the day my feet would be in so much pain I could hardly walk. I have a bunion on one foot and that foot hurt all day. I ordered a pair of Pedor Vienna's and have been wearing them a couple of weeks. What a difference they make - no pain. I love the shoes and only wish they made them in Navy.

These shoes are VERY comfortable and supportive. As a significantly overweight person, I need a shoe with real support to help with my posture and to provide a comfortable walk. I can now walk comfortably and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. These are very sleek shoes too. The sides of the shoes have expansion areas so anyone with bunions would love these shoes.

I first was fitted with this shoe in brown at the shop where I had my orthotics made. I have a very difficult time finding shoes that I can wear due to bunions etc. and have been forced to wear an overwide shoe which is then too big for me. The neoprene insets on the sides of this shoe make it possible for me to wear my correct size. They are surprisingly attractive and I've had many compliments on them. The neoprene holds it's shape beautifully. I have purchased a second pair in black.
