We just got word that the fine folks over at Xpandasox® had their socks independently tested to determine the levels of compression they provide to the wearer.
The most significant finding was that each pair of socks offers three different compression grades. The compression grades change in relation to the calf circumference of the wearer.
So if you start your day and your calf is 15-18 inches the Xpandasox® are 8-15 mmHg gradient compression as the day goes by if your leg swells to 18-21 inches the compression increases to 15-20 mmHg mild gradient compression, if your leg circumference increases to 21-24 inches the compression increases to 20-30 mmHg moderate gradient compression. Xpandasox® say there is no other sock on the market that can make these claims.
This is great news for those with Lipedema and/or lymphedema and really, any type of leg swelling!!
